Michael Leavitt is the founder and chairman of Leavitt Partners, a health-care intelligence business. Previously Leavitt served as secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (2005-2009), administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (2003-2005) and governor of Utah (1993-2003). At the EPA, he oversaw the implementation of the most protective ground-level ozone standards in U.S. history and signed the Clean Diesel Rule, a landmark rule to clean up non-road diesel fuel.
